So I don’t have a workshop. So what? I started painting again today, in my tiny room, having protected the carpet and the bed with an old sheet, and spread my paint pots and brushes and other bits and bobs all over any flat surface that’s available to me: window
Not much to say this week. Just very busy working and studying. Thankfully, my job allows me to get a better idea about all the theory we learn at college, so I don’t need to spend ages bent over my notes. My main problem is really the lack of workshop.

Did you know that yew trees often rot from the middle because of a fungus which attacks only the dead wood that is right in the middle of the trunk. The fungus doesn’t touch the outward part and so that is why old yew trees are often hollow and split
I have a job! I had an interview last week for a position of Shop Assistant in a timber company which also deals with fences, flooring, cladding, bar and kitchen tops, decking and other wood orientated items of large proportions. I was offered the job on Thursday and it is
